“We have such fond memories of the design process, picking materials…choosing the builders to work with.
We were guided all the way through, and it was so exciting to watch ideas develop so quickly. Joe has children a similar age to ours and he just ‘got it’ - we wanted everything to be functionally beautiful - everything needed to work for a busy, growing family, we needed spaces for the children to play, places to hide all the bits we didn’t want to see - but we didn’t want to compromise on style or design.
The thing I love most about the house is the glass and the light. We’ve lived here a year now and gone through the seasons and the low winter sun casts equally beautiful shadows as in the height of summer. I find myself being drawn to being in the house more and more and that’s testament to how beautifully designed and functional the space is.”
